The Permission Project is
a home for all my creative work

I am an artist, a wisdom teacher, a movement guide, a photographer, a filmmaker, and a creator of immersive spaces that revolutionize your understanding of yourself. I create transformative experiences of beauty.

I have two main gifts

The first is sight. I am blessed to be able to see truth as it is held in the human form. I see it when I look through my camera. I see it when people move and dance in front of me. I am able to see these qualities and pull them forward so that you can see yourself more clearly.

My second gift is translation. I am able to take academic, spiritual, and esoteric concepts and translate them into space/time so that you can experience these themes within yourself. I take ideas, stories, histories, and concepts and lay them out in a physical space. I then act as your guide, walking alongside you as you find your own relationship to these truths.

My passion is to expand my clients’ and my students' conception of themselves

I want you to experience your own vastness and develop your own relationship to spirituality, power, beauty and truth. I do this by giving you a safe and beautiful space to experience your own body. I believe your body inherently knows the way forward, and through unstructured movement, your inner voice becomes stronger and clearer.

I am also committed to offering opportunities for people to experience the breadth of their own aliveness. I deeply value being alive and somatically engaged in this temporal human existence.

I see you, and I help you to better see yourself. I do this by taking photos … by capturing moments of you etched in light.

And I do this by creating environments and structures for you to move in and with, letting your body’s own authentic movement show you what you feel, and marveling at how you dance your world into being.

Over the years, I have come to understand myself as a ritualist and my own work as creating the rituals that define our lives and bring meaning back in to our contemporary human existence. I have a passion for researching ancient history, art, and philosophy and breathing life in to these ideas so that we can re-experience what they have to offer our modern bodies. We dance with these ideas, and we do this in community. We all rise together to build the lives and the ways of being that we want and need.

Liz provokes our bodies in occupying the weight of their own width and depth. She leans into towards our expressive corners, and in so doing calls us towards them as we practice opening to the fullness of our embodiment. Working with Liz through dance, I have somatically reconciled with some of the deepest ways I've held myself in tension and isolation from my core. She tells us 'it gets to be easy,' and it feels this way. When I soften into the walls of her container and submit to my own wholeness, my body reveals itself to me with ready intimacy. In her photography, Liz offered me back to myself as erotic, myself as life force, animal, human, and soul - intermingled and inseparable. I have felt and known this in myself, but she is the first person who has given me the opportunity to see it in myself. To practice with Liz is to have a profound companion and witness as you develop the capacity to hold your immensity

Dancer, Teacher
Liz is a master seer. It doesn’t matter if she’s teaching in the dance room or shooting photos behind the camera. She sees past the external facade and pierces our souls on the deepest level. She sees our power before we do, and softly encourages us to shed and shine until we finally see ourselves. I can confidently say I’m obsessed with what I see from my latest photoshoot with her. Liz captured the pain I’ve let go, the emerging next level of desire I’ve claimed, and the true essence of the woman I am today. It’s a blessing to call her a friend.

People are starving for relationships which extend beyond the transactional - starving for meaning. In the time I’ve known Elizabeth I’ve witnessed week after week, year after year, the hard work she puts into developing a community based in safety, trust, and collaboration; a community based in reciprocity to the Earth and to one another. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Elizabeth recognizes the dire need to reclaim suppressed feminine knowledge, and devotes her life to expanding the reach of said knowledge through her many creative endeavors
